It’s been three years since my the last time I recommended food delivery options around Perth, so I thought I’d revisit this topic with our households latest insights!
These restaurants and eateries are listed in order of best recommendation, with rankings being based on a mix of quality, value and consistency when ordering delivered.
- HEE Sushi and Sake – $$
Meal service: Lunch only
Cuisine: Japanese Lunch bar
Who doesn’t love a good bento? The ones at HEE Sushi in Bentley are probably some of the best lunch specials you can get these days. Great portion sizes, every component is a solid item on its own.
You can sometimes also catch a discount, but be warned that they shut at 3:30pm. Sometimes earlier.

Cuisine: Japanese Restaurant
The food at Akari-ya Izakaya is made with love. They also happen to make the best beef curry you can get in town. If you’re craving that authentic Japanese quality, care and attention to detail then you need to check this place out.
My favourite dish is the teriyaki beef with a side of rice. For entrees we also often get their delicious chicken karaage and gyoza dumplings.

Cuisine: Chinese Noodle House
Using fresh in-house made noodles puts Qin’s Lanzhou head and shoulders above the average noodle bar. There’s nothing like a hearty delicious warm bowl of soup on a cold night, and if that’s what you’re you’d do well to order from here.
Depending on my mood I’ll either go a spicy broth or a plain one with a side of chilli oil. You can choose how far you want your noodles cooked and their shape.

Cuisine: Vietnamese Lunch Bar
Who doesn’t love a good banh mi? The fresher the ingredients the better, and the home made components of Banh Mi & Che make their Banh Mi’s some of the best we’ve ever had. This humble lunch bar has quickly won the local community over.
We are here at least once a week getting our banh mi fill, but have also really enjoyed their rice bowls and desserts.

Specialising in brioche sandwiches and burgers filled with their signature omelette, this is one of our favourite new places to get breakfast and lunch from. They cook the bacon properly, crispy with a bit of chew, if you’re a fan of bacon you know.
Easily one of the best places to get a solid feed. With the cost of the big fast food chains going up, the value proposition of Eggspot makes them an easy choice. Especially as a treat.

Cuisine: Korean Fried Chicken and Street Food
Another one of our go to’s, Popo Lee makes some of the most delicious Korean Fried Chicken we’ve ever had. Each piece is fresh, crispy and delicious. They offer regular and boneless options and a variery of flavours.
Our regular order consists of a half and half of boneless chicken – Cheddar Snow and Sweet Chilli. Their pork bulgogi is also probably the best version you can get with the taste of wok hay and a good sear on the all the components.

We have fond childhood memories of a good pizza from a restaurant. Pizza Riviera are a humble store that produces some of the tastiest pizzas around. Made with the delicious real ingredients and a solid pizza base with the taste of real dough.
Our regular order is usually a Chicken Teriyaki with an Aussie. This place is so good, if we’re ordering we’re getting family sized so there’s leftovers for the next day.

As a cliche’d Perth resident who loves Bali, I am also a massive fiend for satay barbecue. Using a kitchen flame grill to cook the chicken satay to perfection, RIA Ayam’s one of our favourite spots to get a quick and tasty lunch.
One extra special thing about this place is you can order rice lontong, which are little rice cakes often served with street food in South East Asia. Delicious and authentic!

One of the marks of a quality curry is how well the big spices are integrated into the sauce. Most chefs blend or remove the spices later, but the sauces at Flavour of Punjab are so well developed that even the remaining spice pieces taste great.
My favourite dish here is the Beef Karahi, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this anywhere else which is another boon. For entrees you can’t go wrong with onion baji.

Cuisine: Late Night Kebabs and Pizza Shop
Sometimes you just need to get a pizza at 2am, or a kebab. OR a burger, meatbox and gozleme. If that’s your situation, All Night Pizza Cafe is a solid reliable place to fill up. The food is pretty good quality for a place that stays open late.
I’ve recently become a fan of the kapsilon meat box. This is essentially a regular meatbox but with a salad and feta cheese on top. Absolutely outstanding.
